Step-by-step
1. Get the folder and unzip it
- If you received a ZIP archive, unzip it first.
- Inside you will usually find a DICOM folder and an embedded viewer.
- Typical files are RomexisViewer.exe for Windows and RomexisViewer.app for macOS.
2. Open on Windows
- Open the scan folder.
- Double-click RomexisViewer.exe.
- If the program asks for a path, choose the DICOM folder.
3. Open on macOS
- Open the scan folder.
- Double-click RomexisViewer.app.
- If macOS blocks the app, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → “Open Anyway.”
- If the program asks for a path, choose the DICOM folder.
4. If there is no embedded viewer
- For Windows, you can install RadiAnt DICOM Viewer.
- For macOS, you can install Horos.
- After installation, open the DICOM folder with the viewer of your choice.
Frequently asked questions
